Aims and Scope
The journal "Architecture. Construction" highlights modern research and innovations in architecture, construction, and urban planning, covering both theoretical aspects and practical solutions for sustainable development. The journal aims to present research findings in key areas, including architectural design, urban planning, structural engineering, construction management, and innovative technologies in the industry. The journal features two main sections: Architecture and Construction. Main areas of publication include:
Architecture
- Architectural and landscape design – studies on the aesthetic, functional, and ecological aspects of architectural environments, design principles, and the integration of landscapes into urban spaces.
- Urban planning, spatial development, and civil engineering – analysis and development of effective city planning methods, urban development strategies, and modern approaches to civil engineering.
- Smart built environment – integration of digital technologies into construction and urban management, smart city concepts, and their impact on quality of life.
- Organic architecture, restoration, and reconstruction of historical landmarks – research on ecological and nature-oriented architecture, cultural heritage preservation methods, and contemporary approaches to adapting historical buildings.
- Philosophy, theory, and history of architecture – examination of architectural heritage, ideological aspects of design, and the evolution of architectural thought in historical contexts.
Construction
- Materials science, color theory, and construction technologies – development of new materials, research on their properties, impact of color and textures on architectural solutions, and innovative construction techniques.
- Structural engineering, soil mechanics, and foundations – innovations in structural design and analysis, building stability research, and the interaction of foundations with the natural environment.
- Construction technology, modeling, and project management – digital tools and BIM technologies in construction, process automation, and efficiency improvement in the construction industry.
- Engineering systems and energy efficiency in construction – development of building life-support systems, innovative energy-efficient solutions, and the implementation of renewable energy sources in construction.
The journal covers both fundamental research and practical developments aimed at creating efficient, aesthetically appealing, and environmentally safe spaces. We invite scientists, architects, engineers, and specialists from related fields to contribute to our publication.
